Our two kids share a bathroom upstairs at our house. It is a functional bathroom with its dual sinks, and I previously painted their vanity cabinet a bright blue. But the walls were awful! The contractor grade paint was hard to wipe clean, and the beige HAD to go. Painting a kids bathroom is an easy weekend project! While painting our kids’ bathroom I replaced their dated 1990s bar light with a new light fixture. I had a few holes to cover and sand so it made practical sense to swap out the light while painting the walls. I also replaced their old rug for a new blue and orange rug that pulls together the new colors in the bathroom.
