I am planning a makeover in our two kids' bedrooms! They each have their own room, but we haven't decorated their spaces and made the rooms as functional as they could be. Their furniture worked in our previous home but it isn't ideal for their current room layouts.
4 things to consider before buying new kids' beds:
Quality (Will this chip after a year? Can we clean it? Is it solid wood?)
Functionality (Is it comfortable? Does it have more than 1 purpose?)
Price (Affordability is a big factor, but it also needs to be good quality)
Style (Fit with house aesthetic. Will they like it in 5 years as teens?)
At 8 & 10 our two kids fall into the "Tween" category (crazy!). And the first thing on my list is new kids beds. The beds in their rooms don't fit the scale of the space (too much sleeping space), and defining that first will help me know what accent furniture they need.
Below I share 16 favorite twin beds at 3 budget price points (under $500, under $1000, and under $1500) with links to each bed. Let me know which bed is your favorite!
