Hi friends!! Remember the dining room refresh project? I am in the home stretch of it.. Paint is on the walls, and the new light fixture is up. Next week visit the blog for a related (AWESOME) giveaway. In the meantime I am making all the small (big) detail decisions like wall art, accessories, and plants.
I thought it would be fun to share five distinct dining rooms with a few home staging tricks. These could be useful in photography, but also in staging a home for resale. Hope you enjoy!
1. Add a few antique books to the table

And for instant color, add a few succulents to glass vases (found at local home improvement stores).
2. Keep the space casual with a few favorite cups and plates

3. When in doubt: fresh flowers!

Flowers add instant color and charm. This space feels serene because it isn't overpowered with clutter.
4. Throw a blanket on a chair

Textiles (blankets, cloth napkins, or tablecloths) add texture and will soften up the room.
5. Make the space looked lived in

The coffee mug and notebook (along with a plate of fresh fruit) makes this bright space inviting.
